It was in 1990 the story of BV Vaikunta Raju journalist turned writer clicked in the box office as ‘Udbhava’ – after 29 years the director of the same film coming up with ‘Ganesha’ idol but with different issues evolving in this political satire cinema ‘Maththe Udbhava’.

For the first time a production designer and costume stylist are roped in by eminent director Kodlu Ramakrishna. This is the film from the team of Nithyanand Bhat, Sathya, Mahesh, Rajesh and Infinity company Roshan Navle jointly investing on the film. Guruprasad Mudradi is production designer of this film filled with lot of humor. Apeksha Purohit wife of eminent director Pawan Wodeyar is the costume stylist in this film.

As we know most of the character played in ‘Udbhava’ in 1990 are living today. The call sheet of versatile actor Ananth Nag is not possible to get. In his place is another talented actor Rangayana Raghu. There were small kids for Ananth Nag character. One of the two is grown up now is played by handsome and talented Pramod. Milana Nagaraj is female lead. There is Avinash as politician, Mohan as a Swamiji, PD Satish, Sudha Belawadi etc in the film.

There is enough of humor, action, love and sentiment assures Kodlu Ramakrishna. The shoot is in Bengaluru. Prajwal Devaraj was supposed to do but Pramod is choice today because of call sheet problem.

Milana Nagara is environment lover. I am handling one issue that is very pertinent to present day. There is something bigger than ‘Devru’ is the lookout. Rangayana Raghu role is continuation of Ananth Nag role. I have worked on script for one year and 10 times more interesting than earlier ‘Udbhava’ says Kodlu.

It will be a good political satire feels Rangayana Raghu and Avinash. Mohan besides doing a role is writing dialogues. The film is coined between Bhaya and Bhakthi he says.

Mohan is cameraman, V Manohar is scoring music, Kemparaj is editor of the film.
