The magnum opus of Munirathna Naidu ‘Munirathna Kurukshetra’ from the point of view of Duryodhana starring challenging star Darshan is all set for release on 9^th of August – the Kannada and Telugu versions are releasing on Varamahalakshmi Day, two weeks later Tamil and Malayalam are hitting silver screen while Hindi version take a few more weeks as climatic condition is not feasible.

On Saturday evening the major actors of the film ‘Munirathna Kurukshetra’ – Darshan, Shashikumar, Sonu Sood, Danish Akthar, Ravishanker, Ravi Chetan, Yashas, director Naganna, distributor and Shalya character Rockline Venkatesh, writer Dr V Nagendra Prasad, Vasu of Jayasri Devi team were on the dais to address the media.

There is no big or small in the team. All have done excellent work and it is because of cooperation this was possible. One scene shooting in 2D and 3D was not an easy task. In fact Darshan has taken more trouble for this film stated Munirathna Naidu. Without Darshan we cannot think of Duryodhana.

Doing this film is my big fortune in life. The north and South actors are clubbed in this film. I am satisfied with the level of making. My 3 grandchildren are also part of the cast. This is the one that can give tough fight to non Kannada films observes Munirathna Naidu. He also thanked Dr Nagendra Prasad, K Kalyan, JK Bharavi and other technicians on this occasion.

According to sources Munirathna Naidu intends to make a film ‘Chanakya Chandragupta’ featuring Kichcha Sudeep and power star Puneeth Rajakumar as his next.
