At one point of time in life, one has to be ‘Rough’ while some others are tough too. The film ‘Rough’ also focus on that attitude because the situations come in the life of debutant Raj in such a way.

Ram Santosh a mechanical engineer had a stint in USA and Germany on his work and since 2009 he has been dreaming of directing a film. he joined the theatre field first and then worked under Chandrasekhar Bandiappa in Aane Pataki and Tarakaasura.

Harish, Bhasker and Manju are villains in this film. Heroine of the film Sushmitha did not turn up even after media briefing and teaser release event came to an end.

Arun Suresh cinematography, Sharat music, Vikram stunts, Murali and Harikrishna dance are main technical support. Sadhu Kokila, Basavaraju, Santosh, Ramesh, Harish and Ravi are co actors in this film.
