Retuning the old melodious songs has become a habit in the days of only two songs enough for the film culture! The latest retuning is 42 years old song Neerinalli Aleya Ungura….in ‘Gubbi’ film from music director Arjun.

The song penned by R.N.Jayagopal for the ‘Bedi Bandhavalu’ (1968 – directed by Srinivasan for Srinivasa Arts productions) used in ‘Gubbi’ film does not find the credit for the veteran on the audio CD cover. This particular song tune origin was found in ‘Sound of Music’ later in Tamil film ‘Shanthi Nilayam’ the same tune was used. It was shot in Kannada film ‘Bedi Bandhavalu’ on Kalyankumar and Chandrakala!

Out of the five songs scored by Arjun the super hit melody is said to be Confusion song…..aired continuously in radio channels says music director Arjun.

In the recent past ‘Gubbi’ is the second film after ‘Krishnan Love Story’ that is based on real life happening of lovers. It was 75 percent in Krishnan Love Story but in ‘Gubbi’ debutant director Vijay says I cannot say the percentage of real life happening used for the film. He has taken the strange signal portions of lovers who are director Vijay friends in real life. Out of eight concepts Vijay the longtime associate of director Prem thought he has used four for this film. There is comedy, action and sentiment plus lovely songs says the proud Vijay. He is contemplating on releasing the film in August second week.

Anaji Nagaraj cameraman turned producer had planned the audio release on last June 24 but his 57 years elder brother died in the home town made him to release the album on Wednesday afternoon. He is very confident of the good progress of this film.

Actor Ajith is feeling happy for the success of the songs and he wish to see the success of the film. Anandapriya brother of Dr Nagendra Prasad has penned two songs for the film.
