NIRMALA ON SWACH BHARATH HAPPY

The team of ‘Nirmala’ Kannada film – a film by 95 percent children below 16 years of age is in celebration mood as the film has been selected for screening at the 12th Bengaluru International film festival. The special jury section has selected this film at the BIFFEs.

It is Ullas Gowda son of Ba Ma Harish had dream of making a film and he is in the field of cinema in the last six years giving training to young talents in Ullas School.

Nirmala is an experimental film in which five children head all the major departments. It is one of the six selected by special jury for BIFFEs.

This ‘Niamala’ 105 minutes film in Lohit direction is on need of toilets at rural parts of India, he thanked Ullas Institute for giving him an opportunity. Venkat Giri above 15 years of age has written screenplay and dialogues for the film.

The other two elders of this film are  cameraman and producer all other team members are children for ‘Nirmala’. It is based on Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi call for ‘Swachchata’. In addition to it the social awareness and concern are tucked in the film. The film has ‘Mugda Manasugala Kanasu’ as caption.

Varnasri Murur composed music, Sarigama fame Jyothika and Nikitha lent voice for the two songs. Lohith Prakash with short film experience is feature film as director. Doing editing in mobile young Lohit Chandan got trained in Vijaya film institute to learn more on editing. Bhavana Nayak a 10th standard student directed dance.

Ankitha Naidu and Mithilesh Aryan art and publicity, Punyasri costume designing, Pawan Kumar V cinematography, Ullas Gowda and Avinash production plus Ullas Rangabhumi children worked for this film in technical and acting division.
