NM Suresh elected unopposed as vice-president of Film Federation of India

Well-known producer and Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce`s (KFCC) honorary secretary NM Suresh has now been elected unopposed as vice-president of Film Federation of India (FFI). The election was made during the administrative board meeting on Wednesday with a tenure of one year.

Speaking to the media, Mr Suresh said, It gives me immense pleasure to be elected for this august body. I want to personally thank my colleagues Mr KCN Chandru, Mr Sa Ra Govindu, Mr Thomas D'Souza, K V Chandrashekar, KFCC president Jairaj and other office bearers. Producers` Association president Mr DK Ramakrishna and office bearers. I will take up this new responsibility for working for improving Indian films in general and Kannada films in particular.

Mr Suresh has already created a mark in Kannada cinema by producing well-known movies like `Excuse Me1`, `Chappale`, 7 `o` clock, `Tananam Tananam`, `Karanji`, `Cheluve ninna nodalu`, and `Advaita` etc. Mr Suresh also had a successful stint as a president of Malleswaram cooperative bank where he is currently functioning as a senior director. He is also involved in a number of social works.
