The sitting President of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce DR Jairaj has mentioned that there will be no threat to exhibitor sector with the OTT platforms screening films without making entry to theatres.

Already for and against discussion is mounting up with this OTT direct release. When Dr Kamal Haasan thought of DTH there was hue and cry. Now it is nothing but DTH via OTT.

KFCC President Jairaj, himself being an exhibitor has made a legal approach to this OTT. He knows the consequences of opposing it. He clarifies that according to the framework of law OTT cannot be stopped he says.

A producer has liberty in this democratic India to release at any place and form. Apparently this arrangement of release in OTT is very temporary stated Puneeth Rajakumar who is all set for two of his PRK banner films ‘Law’ and ‘French Biryani’ release.
