ONIROS AWARD TO RUDRI PAVANA GOWDA

The talented actress from land of sugar cane Mandya Pavana Gowda who shot in to fame from ‘Jatta’ and ‘Gombegala Love’ Kannada films is now feeling extremely happy for a prestigious award for her sterling performance in ‘Rudri’ that got the best poster and critics best actress award at the Oniros International Film Festival in IMDB qualifying competition.

Pavana Gowda immensely thank the organizers for extending platform to showcase the talent and later recognizing the film ‘Rudri’.

Pawana Gowda hailing from Mandya has been in the industry since 2013 and her films like Jatta, Gombegala Love, Aatagara, Gultoo, Colorful, John Jaani Janardhan, Toothu Madike, Mehabooba, Mysuru Diaries, Fighter and TV serial ‘Anuraaga’ to her list of tinsel town activities as an actress.

In ‘Rudhri’ Pavana plays a rural girl. The film is set in northern Karnataka backdrop. It is based on a few real life incidents. Rudri is brought up by her grandmother. She has been physically violated. After that Rudri showcase her strength and how she change in live. It is an intense character for Pavana and she considers it as a dream role.

‘Rudri’ directed by Badiger Devendra in his debut also stars Dayanand Sagar, Harish Kattimani, Supreeth, Pawan and others. Sadhu Kokila has done music for this film.
