The grandson of SP Varadaraju alias Varadappa, Appanna according to Dr Shivarajakumar brothers – Prithvi Vijayakumar makes debut from ‘Minchu Hulu’ children cinema and the film went on the floors at Sri Shirdi Saibaba Temple in RT Nagar Bengaluru on Monday morning.

Prithvi Vijayakumar is son of second daughter of Varadappa – Dr Asha Vijayakumar. He is the only son in the family. He had the blessings of five children of Dr Rajakumar for the muhurut of the film.

A BBA graduate Prithvi worked in the theatre camp of PAPU and Govindaswami trained him for last eleven months. He got convinced with the story of director Kumar Mahesh and his father Vijayakumar is joint producer of this film ‘Minchu Hulu’.

Prithvi has immensely liked the character. He plays as mentor to young Preetham who has goals of bringing electricity with new invention to his house and to the villages. Prithvi is a paper boy in this film. The film as a whole has good substance informs Prithvi who is in a turning point to the film ‘Minchu Hulu’.

When Prithvi was in six standard of education – 2006 March, his grandfather Varadappa passed away. He remembers some of the lighter moments with his grandfather in a chat.

My grandfather used to get me good food. I was fond pork and other non vegetarian food. I used to eat a lot. He was telling my mother on eating habits. Bitre nine Thithane…was a lighter vein of Varadappa in those days.

At home the parents of Prithvi insisted on education. Although he had close affinity to cinema he finished BBA and then stepped in to cinema. He is contemplating on Cooked food business with his friend in the coming days.

Prithvi is an avid viewer of films. Bangarada Manushya of Dr Rajakumar is his favorite. Jogi Arasu, Tuvvi Tuvvi etc are his other favorites.
