PRIYAMANI IS CBI OFFICER IN DR 56

The national acclaimed actress Priyamani is playing the silent and calm CBI officer role in ‘Dr 56’ a scientific thriller in the story of Praveen Reddy who is also producer and screenplay writer. Raji Anandaleela is director of this film after working for 16 films as assistant.

The poster designed by Srikanth Kashyap was released in the first media meet of ‘Dr 56’. It is a mistake everyone does in life and it is a murder mystery too. In Anekal one schedule, Pichchavaram and other locations in 25 days this ‘Hari Hara Pictures’ is completing shooting.

Praveen is one of the protagonists but he will be for a few scenes. For every 56 minutes something happens to his character in the film. He has collected real footage for the concept of this film. He has also acted in ‘Murkal Estate’. Rakesh C Thilak is cameraman and finds very comfortable to shoot in places like Chandapura, Pichchavaram, in a hospital and a few streets. Nobil Paul is scoring music for two songs and doing background score.

Priyamani in her address says the role is very interesting and also the story and narration. She had not heard this kind of script. It is not like CID series. It is a calm and quiet role. She uncovers the mystery and all of them lead to the main murder. In RP Patnayak film she had acted in an investigative officer role. This role is level headed that sees the future probabilities of mistake she adds.
