Gangotri Rangaswamy the replica voice of Dr.Rajakumar in singing collected tears when he came up on stage to sing Dr.Rajakumar songs at a function of Indiatales five CD release of Rajan-Nagendra film songs at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall on Thursday evening.

He was invited to sing the songs in memory of Dr.Rajakumar. Before he took up the song Nannaseya Hoove….he expressed his ‘Aase’. I request Parvathamma to use her influence to get a house for me. I am left stranded without job and I don’t have a house. I quit my police job after Dr.Rajanna death to continue his style of singing. I have three daughters – Brundha (II PUC), Shalini (10th standard) and Mamathasri (7th standard) I have to get their marriage done in future. For living I want a house for which Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar can recommend to Karnataka government….he burst out and there was emotional moment.

Rangaswamy left the police service after 16 years and took up singing in almost similar style how icon Dr.Rajkumar has sung film songs.

Gantogri Rangaswamy living in Mysore is currently leading a hand to mouth existence. He was spotted with his three children on Thursday evening at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall.
