In the wake of children film award number increasing a few discerning film makers are attempting to meet the subsidy amount of Rs.25 lakhs. This one appears to be on the same lines staring with the title ‘Sahasi Makkalu’.

Rathnamala a senior supporting actress (known in the circles of MLA and producer Munirathna Naidu) has invested on this film. Education to children is a must because she was deprived of it in young age. Very recently she completed MA in political science. With such scenario personally she has almost dig the script from her life sketch for the story. She is story writer too of this ‘Sahasi Makkalu’ Kannada film.

In a crowded Green House Raj Milan basement the audio CD of the children film was released in the presence of Lakshminarayana KPCCI backward class unit head, Rekha Rao, Ba Ma Harish, Ba Ma Girish, Umesh Banakar, Sri Developer Varaprasad, Puneeth, Devaraj, Rangappa Yadav, Padmanabh, Dingri Nagaraj, Mahalakshmi presence.

The film is set for release on 13^th of July says director Sushil Mokashi. He is planning for 20 theatres. On the content director Sushil Mokashi says the poor drama artists children finding tough to go to school is the crux of the matter. Five children Madhu (dwarf), Sushmith (Mokashi son), Mythri, Vinay and Punya struggle to go to school with some adventure in life. They are lost in the forest. They fight against the criminals and bounce back to village demanding education. The adventure part of the film is interesting. There is lot of entertainment aspect with children participating in it. It is like ‘Putani Agent’ Kannada film line he says. Near Vitla the shoot was done for the film. Education is our birthright the children claim in the end of ‘Sahasi Makkalu’.

Sharath has done music for four songs. A song featuring teacher, two featuring children etc are part of the music department he disclosed.

The five children working for the film ‘Sahasi Makkalu’ expressed happiness for working in this film. Akul has done dance direction, Jambi Halli Katti worked behind camera for 30 days for this film.

The huge list of guests were invited on stage and felicitated on this occasion.
