It has been a spectacular launch program from Zee Kannada on Mahalaya Amavasye day at Lalith Ashok Hotel for the ‘Sri Vishnu Dashavathara’ mega mythological television serial.

Sri Vishnu Pooja in traditional style was conducted with Iyengar priest’s hymns and Sri Anand Guruji performing on behalf of Zee Kannada. Dheeraj Kumar, Sunil Gupta and Zee Kannada Raghavendra Hunasooru participated in the half an hour ritual.

Later it was another scintillating show by Pramod Alva team of unveiling of Dashavathara of Sri Vishnu in dance.

Later Raghavendra Hunsur addressed the media and said two years plan, one year hard work on ‘Sri Vishnu Dashavathara’ is a mega project with risk. It is a ‘Swamake’ is the first happiness. It is made in Tamil language as ‘Sri Hari Vishnu Dashavathara’ for the economic factors. 95 percent of artist team is from Karnataka explained Raghavendra Hunsur. 10 minutes of Sri Vishnu Dashavathara clips were also screened at the launch program.

Ram Govind and team have done good research on this ‘Sri Vishnu Dashavathara’. It is 350 to 500 episodes from October15 at 8 pm. We are ready with 50 episodes. We have not bifurcated so and so episodes on 10 avataaras. This is ‘Srushtiya Modala Prema Kavya’ he says.

Creative I Company headed by veteran Hindi cinema actor Dheeraj Kumar with Sunil Gupta is producing this bilingual mega mythological. Words cannot express the ‘Shradda and Bhakthi’ put on this making. We feel that we are moving in right direction. In Tamil it is ‘Sri Hari Vishnu Dashavathara’. It will be a new milestone. Dheeraj Kumar in the past made ‘Sri Ganesh, Om Nama Shivaya’ mega television serials. The famous soap opera was ‘Kyunki Ki Saas Kabhu Bahuthi’ (that had Smriti Irani, the present union minister) director Santosh Badal is heading this mega serial.
