The 88 films in Kannada and Telugu Saiprakash the director with long standing not able to stand his deeps loans he made for ‘Devaru Kotta Thangi’ attempted to commit suicide. He consumed the sleeping tablets and miraculously escaped from the jaws of death when he was brought to the Global Hospital in Bangalore.

A day before at the ‘Chi Chinna’ audio release the popular film portal www.chitratara.com spoke to this director with deep concern and the matter withheld for some hours is published below.

In a cinematic way Saiprakash tried to end his life is another story. Today being ‘Amavasye’ Saiprakash consumed sleeping tablets after Maha Shivarathri festival. He sent messages to a few of his friends that he is depressed and not interested to live on this earth. He came to his family doctor Mr Raju and when he was speaking to him he lost balance that made the family doctor to take right steps.

Although Saiprakash is out of danger he has been kept in ICU for 48 hours. The last film of Saiprakash ‘Devaru Kotta Thangi’ hero Shivarajakumar visited the hospital and pacified the director cum producer. It is learnt Shivarajakumar has agreed to give another call sheet of him immediately.
