It is ‘Tent for the warriors’! The prestigious director and KCA chairman Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar is now a big umbrella for budding talents. That is via Tent Cinema. 19 batches of 2000 aspirants churned out in the field of acting direction editing screenplay marketing of films etc has spread out in business of entertainment.

On the 50th short film ‘The Warriors’ directed by Adarsh Ishwarappa of ‘Shuddi and Bhinna Kannada films was screened to packed auditorium in Chamundeswari studio.

KFCC President SA Chinne Gowda after watching the short film inquired on the conclusion, Vasishta N Simha remembering the Yogaraj Bhat song lines said he had not seen the short film but what he could understand made him to remember the song lines.

At the beginning Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar outlined the growth of his Tent Cinema. 2000 students in 19 batches is not a big one, but talented youths are working in various fields of entertainment. I also understand a few other training classes is also doing well he mentioned. I am not the one who worked under any director – it is from reading books, my literature interest made me director. I wanted my students to get practical knowledge – so the short films making was developed right from first batch. All the 50 short films made under Tent Cinema by students is available in You Tube stated Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar.

Adarsh Ishwarappa ‘The Warriors’ is on the recent building crash at Dharwad in which 19 died and 55 injured. After Gangaram Building crash in Bengaluru this is another one. The visuals of crash locations, the injured coming out from the den, the five youths discussing on this issue seriously and finally watching the cricket match – is told with lot of sensibilities by Adarsh Ishwarappa.
