The sequel to ‘Naan Avanillai’ by director and actor pair Selva and Jeevan respectively has been announced and it is the remake of this film ‘Budhivantha’ starring Upendra and five heroines was made in Kannada that ran for 100 days and made good profits.

In Tamil version ‘Naan Avanillai’ the reasons behind vengeance was not shown and it will be incorporated in the sequel film of ‘Naan Avanillai’. But in Kannada film ‘Budhivantha’ the hero Upendra why he cheated all the five heroines is explained with a convincing answer that is shown as clippings after the end of the film. Now it is a challenge for Upendra and team in case they are taking up sequel to ‘Budhivantha’ to do something different.

The film ‘Naan Avanillai’ sequel is taken up by producer Hitesh will be shot in Europe, Dubai and South Africa in a stylish way. Similar to the first part and new set of five heroines will be there for the leading man. Sangeetha (married a month ago), Hema Malini of ‘Indira Vizha’, Swetha Menon and Lakshmi Rai has signed the call sheet. A model from Mumbai will be the fifth heroine.

‘Naan Avanillai’ part I has music from Vijay Anthony but for the sequel Imman is the music composer and Bala Murugan is the cinematographer.
