VETERAN DIRECTOR HA SU RAJASHEKHAR NO MORE

A humble and simple director of Kannada cinema Ha Su Rajashekhar died of heart attack on Saturday afternoon in Bengaluru. His body is brought to his house in Srinivasanagara near Hanumanthnagar.

Aged 60 plus Ha Su Rajashekhar has directed some of the top films after working with legends as assistant and associate director.

Hailing from Chamarajaagara district Ha Su Rajashekhar looked at action films more in his life. He started off his career in SV Rajendra Singh Babu camp. He joined Ramanath Rigvedi in directing ‘Gandharva’ in 1985.

After getting hold of the direction he became independent director for films like Curfew, Kaidhi No.407, Nirbhanda, Dhairya, Mr X, Paapigala Lokadalli, Garuda, Bannada Hejje, Super Police etc. Ha Su Rajashekhar last film was a runaway hit in Tulu language – Oriyan Thoonda Oriyagapuji in 2015. His last Kannada film was ‘Bhairavi’ in 2013.

Traveling in Metro quite often to meet his friends in Gandhinagara Ha Su Rajashekhar became very quiet after his wife departure in 2016.

Rajashekhar lead a simple life but he did not get right share what he deserved.
