VIDYA DHADHATHI VINAYAM! I DON?T LIKE KNOCKING DOORS!

The newbie Vidya who is originally a Keralite lived in Davanagere the cotton capital of Karnataka up to 5th standard is raring to go in all south Indian languages. She has one just released debut film ‘Samagama’ that is good for her and she is on a ‘Red Alert’ in Malayalam. That means her Malayalam ‘Red Alert’ is also slated for early release.

Vidya is also looking at the education part in her life. She is in the second year literature from one of the universities in Kerala. Completed 13 films so far in a career spanning five years! She came to modeling in 8th standard and entered the acting field when she was 10th standard.

She signed a Kannada film ‘Priya My Darling’ two years ago but her second film ‘Samagama’ is on silver screen from this Friday 8th January 2010.

A conservative girl Vidya with charming looks says she accepts the costumes that are only adjustable to her body. I do not like anyone coming to my door and knocking. I hate such knockings. I know what I want. I do not even copy anyone in my acting career. What the god gives we have to be content with it she says.

13 films in five years Vidya has acted with prominent stars like Jairam, Biju Menon, Jagadish, Mukesh and others in Malayalam. She made her debut in Telugu from Seetha Kalyanam and Vacation in Malayalam given her good standing. A classical dancer too Priya wants the roles that stay in audience mind for a long time. Whether it is bold, sordid, comic she is ready to take on.

Vidya’s father works in ICICI bank in Kottayam and her mother is a housewife.
