What is considered as suicide and case is closed, it is reopened and declared as murder. So the investigation starts in ‘Vruthra’ Kannada cinema. In this week ‘Anuktha’ Kannada film the case closed 25 years ago is reopened and declared as murder by the cop investigating on it.

Even this ‘Vrithra’ is also by newcomers, the narration pattern is different. The newly appointed woman cop in the crime branch deals the case of suspected murder. As the needle of suspicion goes on different characters the pressure starts for the investigating cop. The film first media meet was held on Friday night. The shoot for this film was held in and around Bengaluru. There is no need of songs for this film and background score is done by Vasanth.

Nityasri is playing the investigating cop role, Prakash Belawadi, Sudharani, Ravi Seetharam as affluent businessman are in prominent roles in this film.

The film written and directed by Gautham has Auditya Venkatesh as cameraman, Arun has edited the film. Gautham was in the team of Rakshit Shetty for sometime has taken independent direction.

An agricultural businessman from Gulbarga Shambulingayya is producer with support from Rajvanth Singh father of director.

As a part of publicity for the team intend to give CD of the film at temples, brahmakumaris branches and Sadguru temples. The film is at post production stage and might release in this month.

As a matter of fact Rashmika Mandanna agreed to act in this film and first look was also released. In a tweet message Rashmika clarified that she is not able to take up such a strong role. Later Nithyasri was picked for this film. She had acted in Mani Ratnam ‘Katru Viliyadai’. A disciple of dancer Mayuri Upadhya Nithyasri worked as assistant director in Bijoy Nambiyar film.
