The government of Karnataka has announced strict rules and regulations for the second wave of Covid 19 spreading fast. In the announcement the theatres would have 50 percent occupancy is what worries the business of entertainment. This 50 percent occupancy is implemented in 8 districts of Karnataka. This government order on Covid 19 rules is applicable until 20th of April, 2021.

The team of Yuvarathna (film released on April 1) has urged the Karnataka Chief Minister to take back the order and restore 100 percent occupancy.

The government of Karnataka has not imposed lockdown, semi lock down, night curfew but brought out a few conditions that affect the public gathering and entertainment industry.

The districts that are going to affect with 50 percent occupancy are – Bengaluru City, Bengaluru rural, Mysuru, Gulbarga, Dakshin Kannada, Udupi, Bidar and Dharwada.

When the first wave was rampant in March 2021, the cinema halls closed for nearly 217 days. First 50 percent occupancy announced and later it was 100 percent occupancy from February 2021.

It is 50 percent occupancy once again in some of the crucial areas.
