`GILLI` A GULLY GAME ? GURURAJ JAGGESH ARRIVES!

Yet another star son has arrived on Kannada film scene after proper training and education. My son position is 100 steps ahead of my husband in the early 80’s of cinema said the proud mother of debutant hero Gururaj Jaggesh – Smt.Parimala Jaggesh speaking at the launch of ‘GILLI’. The pride of Kannada cinema Jaggesh sitting next to his debutant son Gururaj was feeling immensely happy on the arrival of his son on silver screen. It is just after the silver jubilee of Jaggesh career his son is making it in big screen. Like how you treated me, blessed me, corrected me – please do the same for my son Gururaj said Jaggesh addressing the media at Kanteerava studio on Thursday morning.

 

As Thursday happened to be ‘Sri Raghavendra Swamy Day’ it was very special for devotee Jaggesh as his son appeared for the first shot of his life for silver screen. Jaggesh second son the naughty Yathiraj is also playing important role and acting is nothing new to him.

Jaggesh known for frank admissions said ‘Gilli’ is a remake of Tamil film ‘7 G Rainbow Colony’. He has liked the film for its contents especially the parent and child relationship after some point of time in life. The infatuation love, comedy, message impressed Jaggesh to accept this film keeping aside his own subject for his son. There is no glorification. It is a very simple human being role and rugged said Jaggesh.

Anaji Nagaraj the man behind the camera is producing another remake film with Jayanna and Kiran Kumar. Anaji Nagaraj and Jayanna have just completed ‘Jaaji Mallige’.

The youngster much in demand on the morning of ‘Gilli’ muhurth Gururaj Jaggesh not extremely happy with the training in Kishore Namith Kapoor School of Acting in Mumbai says he wanted to come to acting but not in tension has built up today. I was happy with my video games and internet etc and this is a new responsibility he feels.

Director Raghave Loki who gave ‘Sathya in Love’ a moderate hit film has taken up this film in the gap of three months as his ‘Naane Rajakumar’ went to May this year. When he approached Shivarajakumar on his assignment he said our hero son you are taking up and blessed Jaggesh son Gururaj recalled Raghav Loki. We would have missed had ‘My Autograph’ was not made in Kannada. This film is also like that with various shades said Raghav Loki.

Yuvan Shanker Raja is scoring the music for ‘Gilli’ and Mungaru Male Krishna is the man behind camera of this film.
