Producer GR Mohan Krishna agriculturist from Kasargod – border of Karnataka and Kerala has invested first time on an interesting film with highly experienced assistant director for last 20 plus years Balaji. Mohan Krishna and Balaji are friends from last 15 years.
For the story, screenplay also Balaji has contributed and he says this is a gripping film in the second half and first half gives the required mood for the film on how it moves.
For one secret thing four persons work out ‘Tantra’ and how they get caught is the crux of the film.
The cop in real life turned politician Girish Mattannavar plays the cop on silver screen. This is an offbeat film not in usual format. I had told earlier that there should not be lengthy dialogues. Without a formula this film is made stated Mattannavar who is GUDA (Gulbarga Urban Development Authority) chairman. He was earlier chairman of Kanteerava studios.
‘Jembe’ is the special instrument used in the background for this song less film by Ashok who runs Shoonya Troupe. I had to give up my ideologies in scoring music for this film. The live instruments which I wanted for this film could not happen he pointed.
‘Tantra’ stars Navya, Pramod Chakravarthy, Asha, Biradar, Pranava Murthy, Mimicry Rajagopal, Siddaraj Kalyankar, Kushi and others.  Shanker is the cameraman and MN Swamy has edited the film.
It is releasing on 9th of September in Kailash and 40 other theatres in Northern Karnataka.
