62 FEET STATUE AT OTTHINENE NEAR UDUPI

Young and vibrant Chethan Mundadi is all set to create world record. Kannada cinema industry at the Amrutha Mahotsava stage is getting one more record in its pages of history. The ‘House Full’ Kannada film will extend special attraction of 62 feet tall ‘Charlie Chaplin’ statue for a song and a few talkie portions.

The 62 feet statue of the world famous Charlie Chaplin structure with cement, sand, steel and fiber will be at Othinene that is 48 kilometers away from Udupi district. Oththinene is a place on the beach side where the statue of Charlie Chaplin is coming up five feet above the ground level. The statue will be in three parts and the work has already began says Chethan. This will occupy 20x20 feet. The government of Karnataka that has taken three months to provide the land for has finally made up its mind to give NOC to director of the film ‘House Full’ Hemanth Hegde.

The BBC is coming over in the month of March end to make half an hour program, the Britain Museum has already evinced interest and Mr David Brown of Guinness Book of world Records office is coming over to inspect the 62 feet statue of Charlie Chaplin. The shooting in and around the statue for the film will be conducted for four days says Hemanth Hegde.

A student of CAVA art school in Mysore Chethan Mundadi with the help of 24 students from CAVA art school is giving a final shape to the structure by 28th March 2009. This statue will be the special attraction for Maverick Production house Kannada film ‘House full’. This is produced by Anuj Saxena of Mumbai.

Meanwhile the laughing Sidhu from Sixer Sidhu the ace former Indian cricketer Navjoth Singh Sidhu demanded Rs.15 lakh per day as remuneration for his presence in the film ‘House Full’. The producer pulled out of Sidhu and included Amarjith Singh for an important Punjabi sequence in the film. Ace model in Mumbai Milind Gunanj is playing the key villain in this film. Gowri Oak (of Thare Zamin Par), Vishaka Singh are the beautiful girls counterpart to Diganth and Hemanth Hegde.

For the first time in Kannada cinema Brazilian reggae is used in the fusion style by music director Kiran in one of the five songs of ‘House Full’.
