The US resident Kannada speaking Kannada film director Ashok Patil at a time is concentrating on three scripts. He has announced ‘I Love You’ sometime ago got married and became a father too for a girl child Shivani but kept quiet. No I am not sitting idle without doing any job says Ashok Patil who gave two wonderful films in Kannada ‘Shaapa’ and ‘Joke Falls’ – both starring Ramesh Aravind.

I am currently busy on the silent movie ‘I Love You’, ‘Aradhana’ a youthful family backdrop love cum sentiment film and my script for Hindi film ‘Taxi Driver’ is almost ready says Ashok Patil when this scribe met him at his brother BC Patil audio release on Wednesday afternoon at Bowring Institute.

Ashok Patil had come down to Bangalore for his personal work and firmly says this time ‘Kallu Hodhadre Hannu udarale Beku’ is the policy.

As the things go according to me I will start either a Hindi film ‘Taxi Driver’ or a Kannada film ‘Aradhana’ says Ashok Patil. Asked on the delay of launching his films he said he wants to write the script for himself and rewriting has been going on. After the birth of my baby Shivani who is two and half years now I became very busy spending time with her admitted Patil.
