A film on the life of music band ‘Karanji’ (Kaaranjji written in English) working day and night has completed major portions of shooting featuring Vijaya Raghavendra, ‘Sur’ girl Gauri Kanik for producer N.M.Suresh.

At the Bit Tool factory where specially erected was done by Maltesh Badiger at a cost of Rs.1.5 lakh the folk and rock mix song the climax one was stored in the camera by Raghu Prasahanth for the film in four days duration.

In all 47 days shoot was held in which 20 days shoot was held in Karighatta and Mysore disclosed producer N.M.Suresh addressing the media. He is roping in Bombay Jayasri for one of the songs. That is the voice sung Preethse Antha Prana Thinno…song in Suresh’s ‘Excuse Me’. Hariharan, KK, Vijay Yesudas, Sukwinder are also singing for this film.

According to producer N.M.Suresh 50 percent of the budget of the film goes to songs singing, recording and capturing it in the camera. 6 songs in the film were first sung by Chinmayi but some how the variety was felt said Suresh. All my films are musical hits and I want to continue my trend says Suresh. I have belief my investment will be back said Suresh confidently. He has been continuously giving chances to newcomers and in 48 and 49 days the film is vacating the theatres is what he worries. I am seeing the shades of success of ‘Karanji’ already disclosed Suresh.

Gauri Karnik a Hindustani classical singer started her career from Lukcy Ali’s ‘Sur’. Took voluntary retirement for two and half years for personal life is back in Hindi and English film and this is her first south Indian offer that is ‘Karanji’. Gauri impressed with the song in the film sung the film song ‘Muridha Rambe mele Hakkiyondu Koothidhe.
