AKSHI LAUDABLE WORK SPB LAST SONG

The 67th national award winning Kannada film ‘Akshi’ has many laudable contents in it and the audio of the film was released at Sri Renukamba Digital theatre with novelty.

‘Kannigaagi Kannina Horata’ a film on the need of eyes, significance of ‘Nethra Daana’, what has to be done in the society etc packed in this touching film of debutant director Manoj Kumar has some touching music from Kaladegula Srinivas.

The doyen of film music Dr SP Balasubramaniam last song in Kannada ‘Banna Banna Bhavaneya Banna’ and another touching song were screened at the audio release event.

The novelty of the evening: the invitees at the auditorium were blind folded for the conservation of  SPB and Kaladegula Srinivas and his song was also heard in the closed vision. This is for the first time in Kannada filmdom. 

Dr Sujatha Rathod, director Minto Hospital disclosed that there is grave need for donation of eyes. She pointed to the Thiruvallur system of eye donation to be inculcated all over to come out of the blind people.

Guptaji of Supreme Steel Industry, distributor of the film, was applauded for coming forward to encourage this type of meaningful film.

Sparsha Rekha, Vijay Soorya, Govinde Gowda, Ramesh and Ravi producers, Dr Manjunath, Mithun and Sowmya child actors, Ila Vitla and others were present at the memorable audio release event of ‘Akshi’.

Director Manoj Kumar thanked the media for making him know who he is in the society. It has been a five years project. I hail from a small village. My parents seeing my photo in the newspaper were overwhelmed and that is the best gift for my parents he pointed out.
