Yes. The debutant director the long time assistant director (with D Rajendra Babu and S Mahender) Bangaru hailing from Shikaripura has got the most pleasant moment of his life. That is the appreciation he received for his first film ‘Kalgejje’ from top actors like Ananthnag and Sumithra.

Ananthnag the versatile actor was apprehensive of acting in this film. His wife Gayathri asked for script and Ananthnag portions. Promptly Bangaru handed over the 12 scenes which Ananthnag is supposed to perform. Next Bangaru got a call from Ananthnag in appreciation of his work. Ananthnag took part in his portions and every two days once asking the developments of the film with Bangaru. He has also told to take part in the press meets to speak about his work.

What else is required to feel happy? Bangaru says speaking to media persons in the tempo traveler they traveled from Bangalore to Melkote on Wednesday afternoon.

Not only this much of praise for Bangaru even his Guru D Rajendra Babu telephoned to appreciate his work which he got to know from actress Sumithra his wife. Sumithra was giving commentary of every day shoot to D Rajendra Babu the reputed director of Kannada cinema in the house. Immediately D Rajendra Babu took the phone and lauded his Shishya.

Another notable aspect of ‘Kalgejje’ is that director Bangaru has done only 42 scenes for the film and six songs. The song and screenplay go so close and no one would feel that the songs are just added for the heck of it.
