The minimum bidding of Rs.17 crores for 10 years of Sandalwood stars cricket team for Celebrity Cricket League was announced on Tuesday evening by one of the organizers Induri Vishnu Vardhana in the presence of Artists association President Ambarish, Upendra, Thara, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Puneeth Rajakumar, Upendra, Sudeep, Doddanna on the dais.

The venue for announcement was Windsor Manor hotel. The Artists Association President Ambarish on this occasion announced the Bengaluru Royals sandalwood team captain as Kichcha Sudeep and icon of the team is super power star Puneeth Rajakumar.

The first few matches will be played on January 22 and 23 at Chinnaswamy Stadium. For strengthening the ‘Bengaluru Royals’ Ambarish has spoken to fast bowler from Karnataka Venkatesh Prasad to be the coach. He has informed President of KSCA Anil Kumble and Secretary of KSCA Javagal Srinath on this event.
