The prestigious cinema center for various post production activities now and shooting location in the past Sri Chamundesware Studio in Bengaluru has reached golden jubilee status. The prestige of the studio is further increasing with various programs and plans.

For the 50 years Mr Shadagopan and Smt Rajalakshmi heading Sri Chamudesware Sudio announced production of feature films and short films besides setting up a unique cinema portal 'Sini Ghama' in the leadership of writer and director ML Prasanna.

The boss of Sri Chamundesware Studio Mr Shadagopan announced production of 100 short films in the coming months giving scope for new talent. 10 of the 100 short films will be by reputed directors. The remaining 90 will be for 45 young talents discovered from 'Pratiba Sampada'. Out 100, sixty short films will be selected for a week long Short Film Festival. One social and one entertainer kind of short films will be the choice of new 45 short film directors.

On the valedictory day of the Short film festival by Sri Chamundesware Studio 10 best will be given prizes.

In addition to that ten feature films will be produced by Sri Chamundesware studio to mark the 50 years of its existence.
