Noted producer K Manju taken up two mammoth programs to showcase his strength in Turuvekere to get the Congress-I ticket to the Assembly elections of 2013. Nothing worked out. He has not got the ticket and Congress follower K Manju did not shift his loyalty. Yet he feels deceived by his party.

Producer K Manju of 32 films in Kannada spent nearly Rs.2 crores to get a ticket to contest from Turuvekere assembly seat. It did not reach the bigwigs.

Whenever K Manju was inquired on his party he kept on postponing to which party he belongs to. On Thursday to a few close friends he disclosed he belongs to Congress-I and also felt unhappy for not getting the ticket.

With the completion of Ragini IPS on Thursday starring Ragini in title role he wish to release the film on Ragini birthday May 24.

Meanwhile his next film is with any one of the three – Ganesh, Upendra and Malashri. ‘Raaja Huli’ has also completed shooting.
