Noted producer Uday Mehta taking up distribution very rarely has picked a hilarious one ‘Double Engine’ starring Chikkanna, Suman Ranganath, Prabhu, Priyanka Malnad and Ashok in the lead roles.

The film set for release on 13th of July was supposed to be in production of Udaya Mehta but his preoccupation brought producers Madhusudhan and others on board. He is now distributing the film because he knows the entertainment values in the film.

Director Chandra Mohan is feeling confident with a gutsy man Udaya Mehta on board who is releasing the film in over 100 theatres. The reach is good already with 13 lakh viewers for trailers and teasers. The mouth talk is also giving impressive position. The artists in the film will be facing piquant situation but audience will be laughing at such situations says director. Meanwhile for ‘Double Engine’ there are four meanings in the film that you have to watch it on silver screen.

Sooryakiran of Addhuri fame is cinematography with glam skin tone values that gives sharpness for the digital shooting. This application is for the first time he says as the lighting pattern matches the 4K resolution.

According to Chikkanna the double engine refers to producer and director. We are all like wheels and other parts. It was a good work and result in Bombay Mitayi made me to continue with the director.

Ashok (remembers this talented guy from Mr and Mrs Ramachari – Radhika Pandit brother) says confidence got shot up working with Chikkanna. It was learning experience with Chikkanna he mentioned.

Prabhu another actor of Urvi disclosed how he attended Balaji Lodge audition and found his name of selection in a newspaper.

For Priyanka Malnad it is a Bhajari role in this film. Suman Ranganath did not turn up for the promotional meet of the film. She is in the lead roles with three guys who have ulterior motive of becoming rich over night.
