Right from the morning thousands of people assembled at Dr Rajakumar Samadhi on the 81st birth anniversary of icon of Kannada cinema and celebrated cutting cakes and later took part in the mass feeding arranged on this occasion. The memorial work of Dr Rajakumar is also coming up in a speedy work. The compound wall is ready; the open theatre concrete work is ready. The concrete slabs on both the sides starting from Dr Rajakumar Samadhi has come up, the pillars on both the sides are also ready now.

In the morning around 9 am the family members of Dr rajakumar arrived and lighted lamp took part in the birthday event. Three sons of Dr Rajakumar – Shiv, Raghu and Puneeth donated blood and made way for hundreds of others to donate the blood.

The best moment for www.chitratara.com was when Editor R Manohar and his friend Madhu brought a special cake. The fruits surrounded the cake that had the ‘Happy Birthday Dr Rajakumar – www.chitratara.com’. The family members of Dr Rajakumar joined in cutting the special cake.

From this well attended event the family members took part in another important event slated at Hotel Ashok.

In the evening at Ravindra Kalakshetra the Karnataka government made arrangements at Ravindra Kalakshetra to celebrate the ‘Dr Rajakumar Jayanthi’.
