DR RICHARD CASTELLINO KANNADA FILM AT LAST

The reputed director of Tulu, Konkani and Kodava language films Dr Richard Catellino pocketing many awards for his films is taking up his first Kannada film ‘Ellellu Neene Nannallu Neene’.

Dr Richard Castellino holds the world record for completing a Tulu film ‘September 8’ in 24 hours in the early 90’s and prior to this a Kannada film ‘Idhu Sadhya’ was shot in 48 hours by director Dinesh Baboo. Dr Richard Castellino’s ‘Bangar Patler’ Konkani film has given many awards and even took part in Cannes international film festival. His first film ‘Nyayagar En Badhak’ Tulu film entered the Cairo International film festival

Known for taking challenges and variety in thoughts Catellino has just completed ‘Kasar’ Konkani film and moving on to ‘Ellellu Neene Nannallu Neene’ a brother and sister sentiment with love angle. He is shooting the songs in Bangkok, Malaysia and Singapore and the talkie portions in October at Bangalore, Chickmagalur and Ooty.

This film happens to be the 101 cinematography by Mallikarjun. Mallikarjun 100th film was ‘Kazar’ a Konkani film. In the Karnataka state languages completing 100 films in cinematography he is the first one.

Supritha of Ambari fame is the heroine and debutant Rohith is in the lead.
