GANTUMOOTE SCALING HEIGHTS

A film of the 90’s era of love story from the point of view of a girl tucked with various elements in a meaningful film ‘Gantumoote’ a debut direction of talented Roopa Rao is no doubt scaling heights.

The film has already touched the hearts of many via participation in festivals in five countries and bagging a few awards.

A film in Ameyukthi Studios Private Limited by director Roopa Rao and Sahadev Kelvadi crossed over 1 crores of budget for the making. The film ‘Gantumoote’ is now set to hit the stands on 18th of October in Karnataka. On October 5th the film is screened at the South Asia Film Festival.

Highly confident lady Roopa Rao is in touch with Mysuru Talkies for release of the film. Apparently for the premiere show of the film ‘Gantumoote’ top director Pawan Kumar, Priyanka Upendra, Nishwika, Bindu Malini and others graced and blessed the film.

Roopa Rao says the actors of this film have not taken birth to the period she is discussing in the film.

The girl of 90’s is Teju Belawadi and boy Nischit Karodi. According to Teju (daughter of eminent actor Prakash Belawadi) the overwhelming response at the BMS College of girls at the trailer release was something tremendous. I don’t know whether I get such response for the film she adds. The love angle has not changed from 90 to 2019 she feels.

The tantrums at school level, pressure inside and outside school, competition for scoring marks etc are part of the film. Sahadev Kelvadi cinematography, Aparajith Sris music and Pradip Nayak editing are part of the technical team.

Along with Teju Belawadi, Nischith, Bhargav Raju, Soorya Vasishta, Sharat Gowda, Sri Ranga, Ram Manjunath, Archana Shyam, Varsha Kashyap, PS Akshay Prasad, Prathima Vajra, Pruthvi Banavasi, Chandrasekhar, Satish Kumar, Namith Gowda and others are in the cast.
