Here is ‘Kirik Life’ of five slum youths from the debut direction of Gururaj Kulkarni who is backed by producer Sandesh Haasan an industrialist.

The film ‘Kirik Life’ went on the floors on yesterday and came before the media on Wednesday morning at SRV auditorium.

There is ‘Kirik’ in everyone life. The film KL is on slum friends, emotion, love and a few message tucked in the film.  The shoot of 42 days at Haasan and Sakleshpura is taking place. The ‘Kirik’ inside the mind of five boys and their friendship is focused mainly says Gururaj Kulkarni. He has worked with Shivu Jamakhandi in a few films as co director and taken inspiration for the film from real life observation.

Producer Sandesh Haasan runs an industry ASR that makes banners is investing Rs.20 lakhs on the film – that is the budget fixed for the film.

Shivu Jamakhandi also director, lyricist and music director is scoring for four songs. He is utilizing the natural sound in our environment for this film purpose.

Sharat is protagonist hails from a small village in Chitradurga. He has acted in Marathi and Kannada films that are yet to release. He is an engineering drop out and the script of this film ‘Kirik Life’ impressed him.

Suhartha is making debut as heroine and she plays a college student in the film. Mahesh, Prakash and others are in the cast. Sunil is co director of this film. What was thought as short film later got a lift for a feature film. Producer Sandesh Haasan instead of investing Rs.10 lakhs agreed to spend Rs.20 lakhs for the film disclosed Sunil co director of ‘KL’.
