The present crisis of Kannada filmdom – theatres not available for Kannada films will be taken up seriously by popular actor Srinagara Kitty, his colleagues and Kitty fans association.

It is time for us to use the ‘force’ disclosed Kitty on the recent development of Kannada cinema halls going to Telugu and Tamil films in Kannada Naadu. They get rousing welcome here but when we go there it is poor response. To tackle this issue I am approaching my colleagues in the artists association said Kitty.

For acquiring the theatres the arbitration committee has approached the court and KFCC President KV Chandrasekhar is looking at the legal matter. The producers then can claim damages too from non Kannada film producers he stated.

Meanwhile Kitty was asked to talk on such matters by his Geleyara Balaga that arranged for ‘Kitty Party’ on the release day of ‘Ko…Ko…Koli Kothi’. The film has got good response all over Karnataka. Songs, action, screenplay of the film are receiving appreciation. I am fortunate to get this film pointed Kitty.

R Chandru director of Ko Ko….recalled an incident in Bellary that ransacked the theatre for not screening Kannada film.
