The famous still photographer of Kannada cinema Kumar Chakravarthy has become still on Sunday. It was a second blow to the cinematography department as state award winning cameraman KM Vishnuvardhana had passed on the same day.

It was Ramesh a still photographer who introduced Kumar Chakravarthy from H2O Kannada cinema. Later he worked as assistant cameraman with PKH Doss for films like Diggajaru, Chandra Chakori, Aptha Mithra, Shivalinga and others films. He worked for the first film direction of PKH Doss ‘Jaani’.

He became independent cameraman from ‘Boundry’ cinema of Mahesh film. Soori Gang, Jaya He, Kengulabi, Chitta Chanchala and others.

At the growing level in life Kumar Chakravarthy succumbed to heart attack at a very early age. May his soul rest in peace!
