The other day Sri Krishnadevaraya the top Kannada film of Dr Rajakumar, Bharathi, Jayanthi, MV Rajamma – a film by BR Panthulu in his direction, production screenplay volume was released to the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy. Our colleague DC Nagesh received it from daughter of BR Panthulu – BR Vijayalakshmi. In Mysore on the occasion of Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar birthday at five days festival the screenplay of run away hit ‘America America’ was released by actor cum director Ramesh Aravind.

Now ‘Naa Kanda Kurunadu’ the debut film of famous art director G Murthy screenplay book 68 pages, Rs.50 as price with 25 pictures was released at Green House Raj Milan on Wednesday afternoon.

Dattanna studying G Murthy from his telephone calls and works said he is an eternal learner. He has already discussed plans for making film with me. But what is disappointing is that a film like Kurunadu has not been appreciated in the film circles and people neglected it he pointed.

G Murthy with the help of Sathya Indraj of Mysore has brought 10000 copies of this screenplay book. He is planning to distribute the book free of cost to film institutes.

In the traditional style of a Malnad baby the cute girl brought the book in front of the Swamiji to release it.
