Another colleague tall in height from cinema Journalism – R Chandrasekhar of ‘Kolara Vani’ daily newspaper has turned lyricist from Kannada film ‘Thirugiso Meese’. The audio CD of this bilingual in Kannada and Telugu ‘Tirugiso Meese’ was released on Thursday evening at Citadel Hotel in the presence of V Manohar, Lahari Velu and other team members.

R Chandrasekhar is a man with extraordinary heart and humbleness. He is very friendly to innumerable and has no enemies. Once you are a friend you cannot miss him out from your friend list.

A strong follower of Dr Rajakumar films and his principles in life earned him good friends. He is known for his affection and sympathy in the friend’s circle. R Chandrasekhar has the rare habit of hearing to speeches of luminaries in the literary field. Once he came up with a few Kannada words meaning to legendary writer Dr HS Venkateshamurthy. In his pocket he has Kannada words piling up looking for meaning that he does not find in Kittle Dictionary.

He is known as ‘Bun Chandru’ because once he offered Varriyar Bakery Bun to the bus full of his colleagues.

R Chandrasekhar mentor is RG Vijayasarathy. After RGV departure R Chandrasekhar took up cinema journalism very seriously and today he is very much in demand.

R Chandrasekhar was once producer of TV Serial ‘Chukubuku Railu’ a children tale 14 episodes that was telecast in television.

A silent worker in his do good for all nature R Chandrasekhar submitted a few of his poems to music director and lyricist R Manohar, Dr V Nagendra Prasad and others. One of his poems was liked by sound engineer Palani D Senapathi and introduced to ‘Thirugiso Meese’ as lyricist for the song Veda Veda….
