The pretty actress Meghana Gaonkar has evinced interest in PHD in the lock down time and has a lot of interest in English literature. She is always busy with reading and writing is another habit of the lovely lady.

For her PHD the subject she picked is ‘Novel Based Cinemas’ and worked on it for the last one and half years. The specialty in this subject is that she has picked the Oscar award winning films based on novels.

Meghana Gaonkar has chosen six novels that were adapted on the silver screen. She is presenting her study papers to Mumbai University.

In the lock down period Meghana Gaonkar also wrote a few poems. She is now in ‘Shubhamangala’ and Karva 3 set to go on floors in October this year.

Meghana Gonkar's latest film release ‘Kalidasa Kannada Meshtru’ with Navarasa Nayaka Jaggesh was very successful. The climax for her role, the idea was suggested by her to director Kaviraj.
