The much awaited Kannada cinema ‘MLA’ starring Pratham, Sonal, Rekha of Sparsha fame, former minister Revanna HM, Kuri Pratap and others is all set for release on 9th of November in over 120 theatres.

Deepak Gangadhar is releasing this film ‘MLA’ – mother promise lekkakke sigada aasami! Shot in54 days in Mysuru, Bengaluru, Kalasa, Udupi, Manipal was given U/A certificate without mute and cut.

It is for this film the blessings of actors Puneeth Rajakumar, Darshan, Ganesh and others have poured in, former chief minister Siddaramaiah before his foreign trip watched this film and blessed the team a grand success.

I cannot direct Pratham. I have adjusted my screenplay and dialogue to his nature and behavior says director Mourya addressing the media.

Rekha of Sparsha plays opponent to Pratham in the film, it is a negative shade. According to Pratham this film is ‘Tili Hasyada Shudda Cinema’.

Producer Venkatesh although mother tongue is Telugu he wanted to make a film in Kannada for a long time. The budget shot up from Rs.1.20 crores to Rs.3.5 crores. He is not worried because it has all strength of recovery in the box office.
