MORLAAMI ON PITRUPAKSHA

‘Magan Maradru Morlaami Madu’ is the saying in the village side. That is because calling the ancestors in the ‘Pitrupaksha’ is so important religiously. Here is one such film ‘Morlaami’ that focus attention on doing ceremony to ancestors.

The modern days city based people are not aware of such ceremony. We are at it to showcase the need of it. it is also the upkeep of the culture and tradition.

Very popular in SARIGAMAPA season 11 Bagalkot Channappa Huddar is turning hero from this film. The dialogues in this film the protagonist narrate in song format. In the village belle role is Varshita Varma. Dinesh Guruji an astrologer is playing father role. Muthuraj very famous comedy actor, Maja Talkies and Maja Bharata artists are in the cast of this film.

For five songs Arun Andrew is scoring music. The important among five is a song on ‘Pitrupaksha’ – so far we have not heard.

Choreographer T Vinay Kumar writing screenplay is also directing the film for the script of Vijayalakshmi. Erric VJ is cameraman, Karthik Venkatesh is editor, Kaurava Venkatesh and Shanker are directing stunts.

V Kumar of Mandya is producer and with him are Manju S Patil, Basavaraju and Yashaswini K Gowda as co producers. Varun, Mohan Juneja, Shobaraj, Muni Kempe Gowda, Sudha, Remo and others are in the cast.

The muhurut for the film was held at Bandi Mahakalamma temple in Gavipura. Pratham was there to bless for the muhuruth.
