The evergreen commercial block buster in the career of doyen of Kannada cinema SR Puttanna Kanagal and second biggest film of ace film maker N Veeraswamy ‘Nagarahavu’ released in 1972 starring Dr Vishnu, Dr Ambarish, Dr Ashwath and others is now in new sounding of 7.1 with technical advancement.

Balaji younger brother of dream merchant of Kannada cinema V Ravichandran perhaps spent more than the budget of what his father had invested while making this film ‘Nagarahavu’ for this new sounding.

Balaji invited the legends of Kannada cinema industry on Monday to release the trailer and song of 7.1 sound technology recreation of ‘Nagarahavu’.

Dr Ambarish, Smt Nagalakshmi Puttanna Kanagal, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Dr Jayanthi, Dr Leelavathi, Lokanath, Shivaramanna, Shanker Ashwath, Doddanna, Rockline Venkatesh, V Ravichandran were greeted with bouquets and fruit basket by Manoranjan and Vikram Ravichandran.

Later it was flashback mood of making of ‘Nagarahavu’ and the epoch making personality Shivaramanna had made notes of a book but narrated only a few. It was felt he is the right person to write a book on ‘Nagarahavu’ making and breaking records. Shivaramanna remembering the days of his work in production, direction and also acting was emotional.

There are many memories in the stock and I remember my father first stated V Ravichandran. He was 11 years when Nagarahavu got released. Puttanna, Vijayabhasker, Ashwath, Vishnu…..in a series personalities, locations and circumstances come in memory mentioned V Ravichandran. The noise was more disclosed by someone is present to this day. It was a proper noise and it has made record. No the present noise of cinema he stated. Shradde, Priti and Devotion were responsible. This type of film is not possible to come. It has catered to all sections. It is a real master piece and Ishwari Pictures is entering 50 years and we continue to give good films added V Ravichandran.

Balaji younger brother of V Ravichandran sought opinion two years on this recreation. It was very positive and that has made him to arrive at this day.
