We had release of ‘Navarathri’ recently, in comes ‘Navarathna’ and later we have ‘Yuvarathna’. This ‘Navarathna’ shot 70 percent in deep forest of Sringeri surroundings, Indonesia and Bengaluru is a suspense cum thriller movie with a short historical background peeping in.

Pratap Raj is hero and director. He has consumed two years to come before the censor to get U/A certificate for ‘Navarathna’ – He has acted in Huch Hudugru in the past and his bilingual in Kannada and Telugu ‘Vyuha’ in the direction of ace composer RP Patnayak is yet to release. Pratap Raj elder brother CP Chandrasekhar a businessman in Mandya is the producer of this film.

Working on script for one year and production and post production in one year Pratap Raj was looking for a forest like Amazon but he got similar one at Kigga near Sringeri. There is a reference to locket of the historical period. Three in the forest – hero Pratap Raj, heroine Moksha Kushal and comedy actor Amith Raj travel in the deep purpose with hidden agenda. That is the secret of this adventurous thriller. There is no horror attachment but the sound gives that feel. It is 2 hours and 17 minutes cinema with three songs.

Pratap Raj is contemplating on similar subject film in Tamil and Telugu with popular actor Karthik doing his role. He is in touch with Studio Green Production and might materialize sometime later.

Confident producer Chandrasekhar CP says such a subject of his brother Pratap Raj is not seen in so far.

Moksha Kushal (actress of Adi Purana) would like to announce this film as her proper heroine film as wild life photographer she gets in to dense forest for some goals in the restricted area.  Shooting in the forest for fifty days with leeches, bad weather etc is now giving a good feel with the trailer she pointed.

Amit Raj a comedy actor is friend in this film to hero Pratap Raj. He appreciated the great risk taken by cameraman Rijo John. One of the blocked falls in the forest he was able to open for shooting with his effort. The team has named the water fall as ‘Rijo Fall’ remembered Amit Raj. As I had to shoot in the forest, I thought of having monkey feel to my character he added.

Rijo P John is one of the two cameramen of this film. He has signed this film first and later completed ‘Lungi’ Kannada film. Lakshmi Raj is second cameraman. According to him every shot was taken in two cameras because of natural light missing out. In the morning we had to shoot with sunlight for a few hours he recalled the difficulty of nature hide and seek. In Ladak we have shot one of the songs in minus 16 degree he stated.

Naveen Kumar who was in Akash Audio as sound engineer has left his job and worked for this film as sound designer.

Vengi is music composer was not present at the first media briefing. The three songs of this film are penned by Bharat J Kadoor. D Beats has taken the audio rights of this film.

Vishnu working in the satellite channel has taken up editing of this film for the first time.

Sharat Lohitashva, Bala Rajvadi, Siddaraj Kalyankar, Swathi and others are in the cast of this PR Films Studios. Pravin Paul has done background score for this film. Real Satish has done the stunning stunts.
