The recently won national award winning actor for 'Kancheevaram' Prakash Rai (Raj in Tamil and Telugu) has filed a divorce petition after a mutual agreement with his wife Lalitha Kumari. The application for mutual separation was filed on Thursday morning. The hearing of the cast has been post poned to November 18.

It is first Prakash Rai who went to court for divorce of his wife. Later his wife Lalitha Kumari sought Rs.2 lakh compensation per month for maintainence. Later a consul for the couple arranged for out of court settlement of husband and wife.
