The clash has engulfed between former KFCC President and Producer Sa Ra Govindu and Prashanth Sambargi who claims to be an insider in the cinema industry.

On Wednesday the KFCC meeting was held on the drugs issue in Sandalwood. In that meeting former KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu disclosed ‘don’t call Prashanth Sambargi as ‘Chitrodyami’. He is nobody in the Kannada filmdom and yelled his anger.

On Thursday morning Prashanth Sambargi given in details his industry connections and his contributions in the field of distribution, FM Radio business etc. I have lost crores of rupees in this industry stated Sambargi and told Sa Ra Govindu dislikes me for various reasons. The reasons are uncalled for. I have questioned in the right perspective and this is what comes up in his anger.

There are many loopholes in the KFCC and that has to be set right. I am an industry man besides my businesses. Even members in KFCC do several businesses. I am not a member of KFCC is the sole issue for them to tease me.

I have done so much work from the last 15 years. When I questioned Sa Ra Govindu at the time of Bahubali 2 release he got upset with me. The disturbance was not there for Bahubali part I but in Part II the objections were raised by Sa Ra Govindu with Sathyaraj name. When I explained to him that ‘Bahubali 2’ is an international project he started to dislike me for reasons best known to him.

Prashanth Sambargi also raised a few questions to KFCC. Telling all is not well in the KFCC and particularly in the statements made by Sa Ra Govindu, Prashanth Sambargi disclosed the major issue of how drugs are attached to Bollywood and Sandalwood.

Prashanth Sambargi mentioned the name of Imtiaz Khatri as kingpin in this drug connection and outlined a few incidents of Mumbai and Bengaluru that also drew a JDS to Congress - I migrated MLA today.
