Posted date: 26/March/2009

Rising from an ordinary life to the position of producer in April 1993 Ramu from ‘Golibaar’ to ‘Kannadadha Kiran Bedi’ the 25th film from Ramu Enterprises has shown grit, determination, struggled yet not lost in case of failures of a few films in his career.

From ‘AK 47’ he was coined as the ‘Koti’ Nirmapaka and after ‘Muthinantha Hendathi’ starring Malashri he married the top actress in 1994. The Ramu Enterprises is known for best action films in the Kannada cinema history has taken up a huge challenge in ‘Kannadadha Kiran Bedi’. This is multi crore film, making use of nearly 2 lakh plus feet of raw stock by director N Om Prakash Rao and the jumbo jet cast and crew ‘Kannadadha Kiran Bedi’ is releasing on this Friday in 25 theatres in Bangalore and in all 75 theatres in Karnataka with 60 plus prints of the film.

‘I am not going for satellite or UFO system of showing the film to the audience’. For me giving a good view to the audience of course with good condition in the theatre is very important. According to my survey there is reduction in quality of 40 percent when the film is shown in satellite system.

Known for lavish spending and thinking in his makings Ramu is putting up 250 hoardings, pressing four vehicles with ‘Kannadadha Kiran Bedi’ trailers, putting up 4000 wall paints and for publicity itself he is incurring Rs.1 crore plus. The first crores producer is investing on publicity one crore of rupees plus is an additional distinction Ramu achieves.

This is two hours 46 minutes ‘Kannadadha Kiran Bedi’ film. I have not given rights to any of the channels, not discussed on the dubbing rights and had only two projections says Ramu who is hoping high on his 25th film.

In the coming days the film ‘Rajani’ a remake of Telugu film ‘Krishna’ starring Upendra, ‘Bheema’ starring Darshan, trilingual in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil starring Arjun Sarja a political based cinema on the lines of Shanker’s ‘Gentleman’, a film starring Dhuniya Vijay in the direction of PN Sathyaa are the films in queue from Ramu Enterprises.
