The tall heroine Ragini Dwivedi who is setting tall orders in her professional career has shared the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in four scenes in Malayalam film ‘Kandhahar’. This is Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal Major playing Mahadevan in ‘Kandhahar’ in which the counterpart is Kannada actress Ragini.

Ragini showing four fingers with smile indicating that she had taken part in four scenes with Amitabhji feels extremely happy for being a part of ‘Kandhahar’ project in which she is with Mohan Lal.

Meanwhile Amitabh Bachchan completed three days schedule in ‘Kandhahar’ that he has accepted only because of Mohan Lal is pleased with his experience. In his blog Amitabh Bachchan writes ‘An overexcited crew on set has been exemplary in attitude and work ethic - there is this culture among the film fraternity in the south. There are smiling faces, group keepsake photographs, bonhomie and respect and the desire to serve; wonderful and admirable qualities that I shall carry back with me.”
Quite pleased with experience, the Big B further added, “Thank you 'Kandahaar', Mohanlal, Major Ravi (director) and the entire unit. I have enjoyed working with you.”

The film ‘Kandhahar’ made at a cost of Rs.10 crores scripted and directed by Major Ravi is based on the 1999 hijack of airplane. Amitabh Bachchan is one of the passengers in the hijack time in the film and he plays a businessman. Ganesh Venkataraman, Sunil Shetty, Kaveri Jhah are in prominent roles.

It is in this film Sumalatha Ambarish plays the wife to Amitabh Bachchan. Sumalatha has completed her portions recently and come back to Bangalore.

This means after Bhavana (Family), Ramya (Amrutha Dhare) now Sumalatha and Ragini have acted in a film that star Amitabh Bachchan.

Mohanlal’s Pranavam Arts International is jointly producing this film. The military operations at the Behradun, Indian military Academy have been captured.

‘Kandhahar’ is a thriller according to director Major Ravi.
