At the CentralCollege grounds in Bangalore the rehearsals for ‘Dr Rajakumar Cup’ to raise funds for the Dancers Association of Karnataka is briskly going on right from morning till evening. The dancers association Rajesh Brahmavar and 5 star Ganesh are working out on various arrangements.

The dumb and deaf actor Dhruv is the coach and he represents the State level in the cricket. The artists and technicians of Kannada filmdom are participating in this event. The event will be similar to the T20 cricket tournament held at the international level.

The stage is set for Dr Rajakumar Cup on 25^th July at Kanteerava Stadium. Crazy star V Ravichandran, Shivarajakumar, Darshan, Sudeep, Vijay, Ganesh and other top heroes and heroine of Kannada cinema are part of this event. A cultural program in the evening after the contest will take place. The winners will be presented the trophy and collected funds would be distributed to Dancers Association as welfare fund.

Actor Diganth, Ajith, Tarun, Tarun Sudhir, Chetan, Anaji Nagaraj, Sathya, Dinesh Baboo, Shivaprabhu, Murali Mohan, Ba Ma Harish and other technicians were seen at the net practice.

It may be recalled the similar cricket tournament was held recently in Hyderabad to cater to the needs of different departments of Telugu cinema. The Airtel sponsored cricket tournament collected Rs.3 crores. Almost all top actors and technicians took part in the event. Kannada actors Charanraj and Prakash Raj were the umpires for this event.
