A few days ago ‘Ravana’ starring Yogish and Sanchita Padukone was launched and yesterday ‘Ram’ was launched starring power star Puneeth Rajakumar – both the muhuruts were held at Kanteerava studios and the media meet was also at the same spot and of course people thronging in large for both at the media meet.

One common factor of Ravana and Ram is that they are remake films. Ravana is Tamil film ‘Kadhal Kondein’ Kannada version and Ram is ‘Ready’ Telugu film remake. It is a good justice for the adjacent states of Karnataka! In ‘Ravana’ Kannada film the protagonist goes like Ravan of Sri Ramayan behind the dear one but in ‘Ram’ it is almost the situation of Sri Rama winning Seethe after fighting against Ravan the ten headed vicious personality!

Coming to ‘Ram’ yet another production from Aditya Babu after facing utter defeat in ‘Anthu Inthu Preethi Banthu’ and ‘Paramesha Panwala’ the third one he is hopeful. That is because of the winner all the way Puneeth Rajakumar the state award winner for ‘Milana’ film.

According to Puneeth Rajakumar the length of original is quite long and so he ha advised for the cutting. Secondly he has agreed to the suggestion on the diction and casual approach for the dialogue writer Ramesh. What is more interesting for Puneeth Rajakumar is the comedy of this film. He immensely loves comedy and he remembers his icon dad Dr.Raj films Bagyadha Lakshmi Baramma and Bangaradha Panjara. He wants to be on that trend in comedy. He is happy to work with Rangayana Raghu and equally cool with veteran like Srinivasamurthy.

Director of ‘Gaja’ Madesh is now director of ‘Ram’, he has given the caption ‘Ready for Anything’ under the title and that also does justice to the remake film that is ‘Ready’. Rejoining the two quarreled brothers efficiently and marrying the sister of the family suits aptly Puneeth Rajakumar says Madesh. Till 15th Feb he is shooting in Bangalore and then move to MM Hills, BR Hills and Uttar Kannada plus the abroad for song portions at a stretch.

MS Ramesh the remake ‘virodhi’ in direction is not ‘virodhi’ to write dialogues for remake films. He says there is only thin difference between the two jobs. V Harikrishna is scoring music for six songs and after Milana and Vamshi Krishnakumar is again handling the camera for Puneeth Rajakumar film.

This film would have 25 to 30 artists and it is surely going to be a family package plus action film!
